Later.”“It is in the pursuit of perfection, hiding some aspects of our personality and over-exaggerating others, that we become neurotic” - Marion Woodman. Compulsive dissatisfaction with external data lies deeper than it may seem. Lack of harmony between the bodily and mental, a great concentration of attention only on external manifestations and overlooking the internal component of the being lead to the emergence of dysmorphophobia. With the realization of one's value, significance and weight as a person and self-confidence, which is built up through inner work on oneself, physical flaws fade and often become peculiarities and unique personality traits.Exhibition History
