The object, representing birth from nowhere and departure to nowhere, allows the author to allegorize his sense of the nature of things. Just as a child is born from the closed, almost hermetic and dark capsule of its mother's womb, so the Earth emerged from the 'nowhere' of the universe. This obscurity, a huge black hole in the exact knowledge of the origin of the world gives reason to believe that we similarly know nothing about its disappearance. This is what gives life and, in its own way, takes it away to nowhere.
